How to Make Advanced Payments for FastComet Hosting Services

When you place orders, your FastComet services are set to be automatically renewed on their expiry date. FastComet allows you to make unscheduled advanced payments on your account and renew these services at any time before their expiry, and choose their renewal duration. Renewing your hosting service in advance prior to its renewal date provides you financial breathing room and peace of mind.

How to Renew Your Hosting Account in Advance

You may only make an advanced payment on a hosting package that has its payments up to date. Note, that if there are any invoices due for your hosting package then you will need to contact our Billing Department or our Customer Care team via our LiveChat for further assistance or simply proceed with submitting the payment for the issued invoice.

If you wish to renew your hosting service beforehand, prior to the invoice is generated, all hosting service advanced payments may be made directly from your FastComet Client Area. 

  • Sign in to your FastComet account.
  • To make an advance payment after accessing your Client Area Dashboard scroll down the Home screen and navigate to the Active Products section
  • The Manage Button is located on the right side of each of your active accounts.
  • Click on the very same Manage Button next to the package you want to make a payment for.
  • Select Renew from the drop-down menu;

  • You will be forwarded to the Renewal page associated with the desired hosting account;

Click Renew on the Renewal Page

  • Select the term (billing cycle) you wish to pay in advance;
  • After confirming that everything is satisfactory, hit the Renew button
  • A pop-up will request for your double confirmation. 

Confirm Your Renewal

  • Click on Renew and proceed. This action will generate a new renewal invoice with the amount due for the renewal of the selected service.

On the next stage you can check the payment methods you may use - Credit Card, PayPal or Account funds.

How to Submit a Payment for an Issued Invoice

To pay your unpaid invoice using PayPal, choose PayPal payment method form the drop-down list and click on PayPal.

You will be redirected to PayPal payment gateway and be asked for your PayPal information on the next screen.

To pay your unpaid renewal invoice using Credit Card, choose the Credit Card payment method form the drop-down list and click on Pay Now button.

If you wish to use the already saved credit card on file you select the radio button Use Existing Card and then submit the Order button. 

If you wish to use a new credit card, you can do so by entering the new credit card details in the Enter New Card tab:Choose Credit Options

How to Change Your Billing Cycle

If there are any invoices due for your hosting package, to change the frequency of payments by changing your billing cycle, please contact our Billing Department or our Customer Care team via our LiveChat.

If you wish to change your billing cycle beforehand, prior to the renewal invoice is generated, follow the steps:

  • Sign in to your FastComet account.
  • After accessing your Client Area Dashboard scroll down the Home screen and navigate to the Active Products section. 
  • Click on the Manage Button, located on the right side of each of your active accounts.
  • Select Renew from the Drop-down menu.
  • On the new page, you will see the Renewal page associated with the desired hosting account.
  • Select the preferred term (billing cycle) from the drop-down menu.

Please keep the following in mind when changing billing cycles or paying in advance:

  • Shared plans can be billed up to 3 years;
  • Existing VPS can be billed up to 3 months;
  • Dedicated Servers can be billed up to 3 months. 

What Payment Options are Available?

The following payment options for service renewal are available, which are described below:

  • Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club)
  • PayPal
  • Account funds.

What Happens After I Make a Pre-payment?

Once you make a prepayment using any of the above payment options, your hosting account due date will be updated with the duration of the billing cycle you have chosen.

If I Renew in Advance, Will I Lose Any Extra Time?

When you renew your account, no matter whether you renew it exactly on its expiration date or a few days/weeks/months earlier, you will not lose any remaining validity time, as the renewal will count from the account's expiration date.

Renewing the product in advance will extend its current due date with the duration of the billing cycle you choose.
